The key difference is that with each new cut, I’m taking the time to study your unique curl pattern and build a customized shape that works specifically for you. Yes, Deidre and Joana work closely together and share many clients to deliver outstanding results. It is possible to schedule both appointments on the same day. However, if you’re having a long blonding session along with the "Initial Curly Cut,” it’s preferred to schedule them as two separate appointments, ideally about two weeks apart, if the color is done first. The reason for this is that blonding can temporarily shift your curl pattern, so for the best possible results, separating the appointments allows time for your cuticle to close and the curls to return to their natural state.

For dimensional color services, please arrive with clean, completely dry hair. If you have curly hair, we recommend washing and rough drying it, then smoothly wrapping it the evening before your appointment—unless you prefer a high-impact, bold color on individual curls. In that case, please arrive with clean, completely dry curly hair. This preparation helps speed up the process and allows us more time to focus on applying the color.
