CANCELLATIONS

In the event you need to reschedule or cancel, we request a 24-hour notice to avoid any fees. This includes any changes or adjustments to already scheduled services if we are able to accommodate the request to change.

In the event a 24-hour notice is not given, there will be a 50% cancellation fee for all booked services which will be charged to your card on file.

Should you no-show your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the services booked. All charges will be made to the card on file.

If you need to cancel and it is after salon hours, please leave us a message on the salon voicemail or send us an email so we are able to verify the time.

LATE ARRIVALS

We understand that life happens. However, please be aware that if you run late, all services may not be able to be accommodated.

Should you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or reschedules due to late arrivals will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service(s) if you need to be rebooked. We ask all guests to plan to arrive 5-10 minutes BEFORE their scheduled appointment time to avoid any late arrival or rebooking fees.

At Hairplay Salon, we value your time as well as our own. All new salon guests will be required to pay a non-refundable 50% booking deposit to reserve your service time with us.

This deposit amount will be applied to your total on the day of your appointment with us. The remaining balance will be due on the day of service. All deposits must be paid prior to being able to secure your appointment at the salon.

If you cancel your appointment 24 hours or less, you lose your booking deposit and a new deposit must be made prior to booking another appointment. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for any clarification.

Thank you for taking the time to read and agree to this policy. Please understand that our salon is 100% scent-free other than the products we use and have tested for the safety of our stylists and guests. The Fragrance Sensitivity Policy is important as some of our staff and guests suffer from scent-induced migraines and/or asthma or other respiratory issues.

Scent sensitivities derive from the chemical makeup of a scent and not necessarily from the scent itself. So while a certain scent may not induce a migraine or an asthma attack, certain combinations of scents, chemicals, and fragrances may. Therefore, we ask all of our guests to refrain from wearing ANY scented products or clothes in the salon. This includes perfumes, hand lotions, body lotions, body sprays, cologne, and aftershave. If it has a scent, please don't wear it.

It is at the discretion of the salon staff that if you arrive to your appointment and you are wearing a fragrance of any kind, you will be asked to reschedule for another day. Please also understand that this will come with a 50% rebooking fee to reschedule you, as there is no way to get in another client at your reserved appointment time.

We also ask that if you have any questions at all, please contact us. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We take the health of our stylists and guests very seriously.

While we understand this may be a sensitive subject, we feel like this is important to address.

Please understand that it is salon policy that there are no children allowed in the salon under the age of 10 years old.

All children under 16 must have an adult present with them at the start of the service appointment to confirm all services before they are to be rendered. Also, any guest under the age of 14 receiving services at Hairplay Salon must have a parental guardian with them during their entire service.

Please make all childcare arrangements before the day of your appointment at the salon. Please DO NOT bring children to your appointment unless they are at least 10 years of age AND are also receiving a service.

In the event, you bring your child and they don't have an appointment or are under the age of 10 years old, you will be asked to reschedule and a fee will be charged to rebook.

Also, please note that we do not offer children's pricing. All of our pricing is gender-neutral and adult pricing only. Should you be interested in a service for a child 10 years of age and up, they will pay the current rate of their specific service in our system.

Hairplay Salon may take before and after photos of our guests' hair to ensure quality results. In the event a service adjustment would be necessary, it serves as a record of what services were rendered and the overall outcome. Your face is not required to be in the photo.

By booking an appointment, you are giving us permission to take any needed photos of your hair for our records.

We reserve the right to post photos of our stylist's work on social media, including our website. Should a guest not be comfortable with their face in photos, they simply need to inform their stylist at the start of the service.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

We want you to be 100% happy with your hair services. If for some reason you need an adjustment after your service appointment with us, you must contact us within 5 days of your appointment date.

This does not cover any situation where you may have changed your mind or are unhappy with your service when your result was unattainable in one session, which would have been covered with you during your consultation.

Any issues reported after the 5-day period may be considered on a case-by-case basis. There will be no refunds for services rendered. If at your service adjustment appointment, it has been determined that a service has been altered in any way outside of the salon, there will be no service adjustment for free.

PRODUCT RETURNS

We offer no refunds for products purchased. If you have purchased a product and for some reason, it's not to your liking, you can bring it back for a salon credit, which can go towards other products or hair services.
